How does it work?

1. We setup your online portal

We’ll create a portal for your users on a subdomain of our website. Depending on any add-ons or extras you need, this can take up to 5 days.

You then send our link out to your audience and we take care of all customer service and support.

2. You send us your live stream

We’ll provide your technology team with the required stream keys and URLs so they can send us the live stream, which will be embedded in your platform.

We’ll run a comprehensive test prior to going live to ensure everything is running smoothly on both ends.

3. We go live

We’ll push your stream live at the requested time and continue monitoring stream health while communicating with your onsite team.

Our team remains on-hand for customer service and technical support throughout the entire live stream.

The best part? All of our platform-only services can be provided entirely remotely, so no matter where you are in the world, we can support your next live stream.

Add-ons

The standard platform build is created by our in-house designer based on any branding or creative provided, but if you require something more custom or with additional features, we can quote this accordingly.

Both of our plans include 1 month of VOD (video on demand) access for your viewers. Add additional months for just $25 per month up to 100GB (overages apply).

Restream

We can send your incoming live stream to additional social or web destinations (i.e Your website, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter) for $90.00 per destination per event.

Frequently asked questions

What are the Free access options?

We offer three specific ways for your viewers to access your free live stream (i.e. when you aren’t using a paywall or requiring registration). These include:

Open: Anyone with the link has access.
Password protected: Single password to access the page.
Email/social opt-in: Have your viewers access the stream by providing their email or interacting with your socials or by taking an action.

What if I need help with streaming technology and production?

No worries! Lively is also a fully stocked production house and equipment supplier.

Check out our all inclusive packages by clicking the button below for more information about how we can support you in live streaming your next event.

Are there any additional fees?

If you are using any of the above free access options, there are no additional fees.

If you are selling access to your live stream (i.e Pay Per View), we charge a $3 per user fee. If you are requiring users to register for a free account, we charge a $1 per user fee.

When selling access online we integrate with both Stripe and PayPal for payments. Stripe (our preferred payment processor) currently charges the following fees per successful transaction:

1.75% + 30c (Australian Domestic Cards)
2.9% + 30c (International Cards)

Please note: all prices on this page are excluding GST unless otherwise indicated.

What technology will my onsite team need to send you our live stream?

Your onsite team will likely have what we call a ‘streaming encoder’. This is a device or application that takes the finished product live stream (cameras/presentations/graphics etc) and sends a digitised version to us to display on the online portal.

We will provide your team with the required stream keys and URLs to successful send us both a test AND the real version of your live stream. We recommend your onsite team have access to the following upload speeds in order to ensure a successful live stream experience.

720p 25/50fps – 3/5Mbps
1080p 25/50fps – 7/10Mbps

These are the two most common formats we see for those streaming in Australia, but our rule of thumb is multiplying the bit rate of your total live stream (video + audio) by 1.5 to determine the internet speed required to successfully stream.
